Meet Maggie Navarro

Everything starts with family and friends, nurture and hold them dear.  Always tell the truth.   The world is constantly changing and challenging so enjoy the ride!  Be a lifelong learner, the journey will take you to amazing places.  Be a good listener, it’s amazing what people will tell you.  Look for the positive in every situation.  Smile, be happy and grateful for your blessings.  Always accept a dinner invitation when traveling abroad!

I have been listening to and helping my real estate clients since January of 1986.  Many have become close friends.  They have been first time buyers, upsized, downsized, moved away and returned to the area.  Babies have been born, gone to college and returned to purchase their own homes.  I have had the privilege of representing the owners of homes with significant architectural and historical merit, in addition to smaller homes and condominiums.

I love the Pasadena area because of our strong commitment to community values and preservation.  Our rich cultural heritage has contributed to our community diversity with an increasing international presence.  Our local restaurants celebrate the world of food and the people they represent.

Prior to my real estate career, I was born and raised in Glendale.  After attending Scripps College, I attended USC and received a degree in Occupational Therapy.  Yes, I am a devoted USC football fan!  As a passionate traveler, I worked and lived in Hong Kong and the Philippines for 5 years prior to spending a year traveling around the world.  Living and traveling abroad opened my eyes and heart to cultures outside my own.  My love of people has contributed to my keen listening and savvy negotiating skills.  Problem solving is one of my greatest skills.

I am an excellent cook, not a baker, reader of diverse books, decent knitter, dog walker, gym attendee, world traveler, passionate diner, a loyal and honest friend, wife to Ralph and mother of three outstanding grown children.

If I can help you with your real estate needs, let’s talk.

Maggie Navarro

Margaret Navarro: Bureau of Real Estate #00910267

I would like to introduce Maggie Navarro to you and share with you my personal experience. I have been the owner of two historic homes. Maggie was my realtor for both houses and so I came to know her, and her talents well, as she represented me in the position of both buyer and seller of properties. I have known Maggie for more than twenty years and during that time have been impressed with the high end properties she has represented. She is savvy about the position of the market and what needs to be done to present the property to the best advantage. She does her research, throws a great introduction of the house to other realtors, and actively promotes the house for sell, all adding to the process of securing a good buyer. A historic property has special needs and with both my Greene and Greene house and the Van Pelt house, Maggie secured not only a good price, but particularly in the case of the Greene and Greene, a sensitive buyer. The City of Pasadena and neighboring cities is very careful with the beautiful, old historic homes in the area and Maggie has shown that she has the knowledge to guide buyer or seller through the process of city regulations and standards. Without a doubt, Maggie Navarro has the knowledge, experience, drive and dedication that I have always sought in the buying and selling of historic and fine homes. ~ Kathleen Martin
When friends in Pasadena were looking for a realtor, I didn’t hesitate to recommend Maggie. I was confident Maggie would work diligently and professionally with the utmost discretion, to find them just what the wanted. Her extensive knowledge of the business, as well as the neighborhoods, sets her apart from the rest! ~ Joanie (Pasadena)
Maggie Navarro has been my realtor for the past 15 years and has helped me successfully buy and sell three homes. She is the consummate professional; highly detail oriented and exceptionally well connected within Pasadena. Her in-depth knowledge of the market, and of the properties she represents, set her apart from all others. I refer my clients to Maggie because I know they will be well represented, and I am confident she will not only provide them with exceptional service, but ensure that they make the best deal possible. ~ Lori (Linda Vista)
“ I sincerely would not think of making a real estate move in Pasadena without talking to Maggie first. Her innate knowledge of the City’s neighborhoods, of the latest trends in the real estate and lending market … coupled with her depth of concern for her client’s unique circumstances, goals and objectives, render her invaluable to her clients. And if that weren’t enough, she is a great person too, an absolute joy to work with! ~ Michelle (Pasadena)
“Maggie Navarro is a consummate professional who demonstrates superior qualities that make her a leading real estate agent. Never one to rest on her laurels she continues to take every opportunity to enhance her abilities to successfully represent both buyers and sellers.” ~ Randy Fred (Manager, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage)
We are writing this review from our new house in Pasadena and wanted to say a word about what a wonderful professional Maggie Navarro is. As they say at the Oscars, we couldn’t have done it without her! Her work with us truly was above and beyond. We came to Maggie in mid-October with a tight deadline which she made with weeks to spare. After talking to and listening to us, using pictures of our current home as a guide, Maggie showed us eight great houses. On our own, we might have found such pretty properties but what was invaluable was Maggie’s knowledge of the neighborhoods and even streets. Not only have we ended up with a lovely home, but also one, because of location, with a strong resale value. Closing the sale is only the beginning with Maggie. As she shepherded us through the labyrinth of financial hurdles, she also found us a staff of excellent craftsman to complete the renovations. She even helped us pick out the paint colors and floor stain. The result is a fresh and mod look to a renovated bungalow done on time for the late December move. Can you imagine? A house project without drama! She and assistant Liz are always ready to help in a warm and welcoming way--with advice from bidding strategies to a green dry cleaner. We feel at home in our new house and our new town--thanks to Team Navarro! ~ Catherine Allgor & Andrew Jacobs
Maggie Navarro came highly recommended by a friend to be our real estate agent. She completely exceeded our expectations. She was extremely professional, kind and very easy to work with. She handled everything with ease and made the very emotional sale of our family home efficient and painless. We highly recommend her and we can’t say enough good things about her. She is a gem!!! ~ Nancy Minton Rob and Julie Waller
I want to thank you for all that you have done in regards to the sale of our house. Not only did you do a spectacular job of marketing it, your suggestions on how to present the house, and help in finding resources to prepare it for sale were invaluable, as was your assistance when we were not available to be there. With your help, the house showed as well as it possibly could have, and really “Wowed” all who viewed it- realtors, buyers, and even neighbors. Not only did the house show well, but your great marketing presentation and personal attention to showings were by far the greatest that I have ever encountered. You put in a lot of effort, and it paid off in great showings, and a fast sale in a very difficult market. Thanks again for your efforts and professionalism! ~ Doug (Altadena)
Maggie is a true professional, experienced negotiator, and careful listener. She assisted us with the sale of 3 our homes in the Pasadena area over the past 10 years, all of significant architectural merit. The Morton Estate was the highest price sale in Pasadena at that time. She took great care in researching and understanding the historical and architectural significance of each home, and using this information to weave an exciting narrative for perspective buyers. Through her implementation of superb architectural photography and creative advertising placement, we were able to attract the right audience for each home. Great advice, beautiful marketing, wonderful knowledge of neighborhoods and resources! ~ Leslie Tolan
Dear Maggie, Thank you for all your assistance and friendship that you have shown during the recent search and purchase of a home in lovely Pasadena. What a crazy market - but your help in smoothing over all the little bumps in the road made it a very enjoyable journey. Should anyone ask my opinion please tell them “Maggie Rocks”! ~ Susan
Maggie was referred to us about 2 years ago as an expert on the Pasadena real estate market, and immediately consulted us not to put our townhome on the market due to market conditions. We appreciated her honesty as you won't get that type of input from all agents, and followed her guidance. Two years later, Maggie suggested we put it on the market due to lack of inventory of like-properties, and we did. She did a great job of marketing the property and consulting us on how to prep the home for sale. The home sold in a few weeks and Maggie made the process simple and easy. We highly recommend Maggie as she is trustworthy, reliable, always accessible and knows the Pasadena market. ~ Greg and Michelle Roberts
